Twitter down for some users
Twitter is down for some users. The micro-blogging service said Tuesday on its blog that they are aware of the issue and working on a fix.
"Some users may be experiencing an issue with our service. Our engineers are currently working on this issue," Twitter status said at about 10 a.m. ET.
It appears that some users may be able to see their tweet feeds, but cannot send a tweet. Some users are seeing a screen that says Twitter is down for maintenance. On its API status website, Twitter notes that users' home timeline may be experiencing "performance issues."
Twitter did not immediately respond to CBS News' request for more information.
