Track All Your Packages from a Single Site

I have packages coming and going from all sorts of shipping services -- FedEx, USP, DHL, USPS, and more, all the time. When I need to know the status of a particular package, I generally go to the shipper's Web site and enter the tracking number.

That's so last-Millennium, though. A better solution: Track all your packages from a single service, and get status in your browser or on your mobile phone.

PackageTrackr is a comprehensive package tracking service that can tell you everything you could possibly want to know about your shipments.

Enter a tracking number, for example, and you'll see a map with the package's journey and position clearly marked. You can see detailed progress reports -- as provided by the shipping service -- and a series of color coded icons visually indicate the package's status. My favorite part: You don't even need to select the shipping service from the 18 or so in the drop down menu. Jus enter the tracking number, and the site automatically figures out what the shipping service is for you.

You can access PackageTrackr on the Web, on your mobile phone, or on the custom iPhone app. All versions are free. [via Lifehacker]
