Dr. Jennifer Ashton reports artificial heart recipient Charles Okeke has re-gained his freedom by carrying around a remarkable new device.
Charles Okeke is the first heart patient in the U.S. to use a portable device called the "freedom driver" to support his artificial heart. The FDA just approved the device and it will allow Okeke to return home after living in a hospital for over two years. The new technology is amazing, but so is the love and faith that his family shares. Watch this week's "Health and Wellness" for a story on how hope and perseverance changed one family's life.
