Haywood County Sheriff Melvin Bond says the 23-year-old White, who was in jail on burglary charges, slipped through the cell bars early Monday, then used blankets to protect himself as he climbed a barbed wire fence, reports WMC-TV.

According to CBS affiliate WREG, White is 5-feet-11-inches tall and weighs 165 pounds.

According to this website, that gives White a body mass index (BMI) of 23 - putting him right in the middle of the normal range.

Perhaps Haywood County should invest in some additional bars.
