Target launches high-end "Hunger Games" collectibles ahead of DVD release

(CBS News) Fans of "The Hunger Games" will soon be able to get their hands on a replica of Katniss' leather hunting jacket, her Mockingjay pin and an autographed lithograph from some of the film's stars - but they'll have to pay some hefty prices.

Target has partnered with Lionsgate to produce a collection of high-end keepsakes from "The Hunger Games" to coincide with the film's Aug. 18 DVD release.

The keepsakes, which are only available in limited quantities, start at $349 and go all the way to $999.

The highest priced item is the 14-carat gold replica of Katniss Everdeen's famed Mockingjay pin, priced at  $999. Only 100 of the pins, which became the symbol of the rebellion in the book, will be made available.

The high-priced items will be released one per day starting on Aug. 18, the film's DVD release date.

Target is also releasing a deluxe edition of "The Hunger Games" on DVD and Blu-ray, which features a collectible case and 45 minutes of exclusive content, including video diaries and interviews.
