Taliban Captures Head of The Afghan "Awakening" Council

Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid claimed that the group captured Mohammed Amin Khan, who led a group of 60 men who constituted a Afghan militia similar to the awakening council militias formed in Iraq. The statement said Khan was seized yesterday in Khost and is expected to be tried by the local consultative council which will decide his fate.
