"Survivor" takes viewers to South Pacific next

"Survivor: Redemption Island" is just wrapping up and already viewers are eager for ther 23rd installment in the popular CBS franchise.

"Survivor: South Pacific," set to air in the fall, will take place on a remote island in the Pacific Ocean, host Jeff Probst announced during Sunday night's live reunion show for "Survivor: Redemption Island."

Like the just -oncluded season, the fall show will have a Redemption Island component in which ousted castaways compete in duels to rejoin the game. It also will have two veteran players joining the cast of 16 "Survivor" newcomers.
