The plane's right wheel was damaged in the landing, but the pilot managed to miss several cars parked nearby.

There were no reports of serious injuries.

Aerial views from CBS Affiliate KHOU showed the small, red airplane partially resting on its side. It appeared the pilot struck a grassy area and curb while coming in for the landing.
