Second person dies after mysterious Tenn. home explosion

John and Marion Setzer were both killed after a package exploded in their Lebanon, Tenn. home WTVF

LEBANON, Tenn. - A mysterious explosion in a rural Tennessee home has claimed the life of a second person.

John Setzer, 74, died Monday when a package exploded in the Middle Tennessee home he shared with his wife, Marion. Marion was airlifted to the hospital, but the 72-year-old woman succumbed to her injuries Wednesday evening, reports CBS affiliate WTVF.

It is still unclear where the package that exploded came from, or even who it was meant for, and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, along with the ATF and the Wilson County Sheriff’s Department are collecting evidence in hopes of developing a suspect or suspects.

WTVF reports that the explosion is believed to have been a targeted attack and that authorities have announced an $8,000 reward for anyone who has information leading to an arrest and conviction.
