Saudis Arrest Scores of Alleged al Qaeda Militants

Saudi Arabia has detained nearly 100 suspected al Qaeda militants, the BBC reported Wednesday. The Saudi Interior Ministry said 47 of those arrested were Saudis and 51 were foreign, adding that those arrested were preparing "acts of terror" on Saudi soil. Most of those arrested were in the southern province of Jazan, near the Saudi border with Yemen, Reuters reports.
