Conflicting reports about Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes secretly getting married
Those were some incredibly quiet wedding bells.
The notoriously private Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes have reportedly hit a major milestone -- without telling anyone.
After spending five years together -- and parenting two daughters -- Gosling and Mendes tied the knot earlier this year before a small group of family and friends, according to Us Weekly.
“Eva and Ryan have always felt like a married couple,” a source said. “They are infatuated with each other.”
Of course, the story of a secret wedding may be just that -- a story -- as a conflicting report from TMZ was published soon after to contradict the Us Weekly assertions.
Gosling and Mendes, who met while making 2012’s “The Place Beyond the Pines,” have two daughters -- 2-year-old Esmeralda and 4-month-old Amada. Earlier this month, while at the Toronto International Film Festival to promote his new film “La La Land,” Gosling gushed about family life.
“I’m a lucky man,” he said. “We couldn’t be happier. They are so sweet.”
