People magazine reports that the British singer is expecting a child with wife Penny Lancaster, 39. This will be the couple's second child together.

"We were thrilled and delighted to be able to tell Alastair that he was going to be the big brother to a little baby, expected just before Mummy's 40th birthday," the couple said.

The "Da Ya Think I'm Sexy?" singer has five other children from previous relationships, in addition to 4-year-old Alastair with Lancaster.

The couple tied the knot in Portofino, Italy in 2007.
