Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero, professional boxer, arrested for carrying empty handgun at New York's JFK airport, report says
(CBS/AP) NEW YORK - Police said professional boxer Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero was arrested at a New York airport Thursday morning for carrying an empty pistol, CBS New York reports.
Guerrero was arrested after declaring an empty .40 caliber semi-automatic pistol while he was at John F. Kennedy International Airport trying to fly to Las Vegas, police said. The weapon was unlicensed, according to the station.
Guerrero was scheduled to fight Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr. on May 4 at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas, CBS New York reports. He was reportedly in New York to promote the fight.
