Report: Wash. fugitive, wanted in murder, spotted in Oregon

BELLEVUE, Wash. -- A Washington man wanted for allegedly killing a woman at an apartment complex outside Seattle and setting the home on fire is on the run and may have fled the state, reports CBS affiliate KIRO.

Firefighters responded March 31 to the Avalon Meydenbauer Apartments in Bellevue after a "water flow" fire alarm sounded, indicating that a fire sprinkler had been activated, reports CBS affiliate KOIN. As they responded to the small fire on the apartment complex's sixth floor, they discovered the body of a woman.

It was later determined she had died of homicidal violence, reports the station. Officials have not released her name.

Police have identified the suspect as Song Wang, 30, and say he should be considered armed and dangerous. Wang was spotted in Oregon April 4, reports KIRO, but managed to elude capture.

Wang is described as an Asian male with black hair, standing about five feet, eight inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds. Anyone who sees him is urged not to contact him and to call 911.
