Report: Utah cops subdue passenger on plane from JFK

NEW YORK - Three police officers flying out of John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City on Monday helped restrain an unruly passenger, sources tell CBS New York.

The officers, who were in town to attend the funeral of NYPD Officer Wenjian Liu, were flying home to Salt Lake City, Utah, when a woman on the plane experienced some sort of medical issue and became combative, according to the station.

The flight was reportedly diverted to O'Hare International Airport in Chicago.
