Report: Justin Bieber put in chokehold, asked to leave Coachella

While Madonna was making out with Drake at Coachaella, security may have been kicking Justin Bieber off the premises.

A new report from TMZ says the 21-year-old pop star was put in a chokehold by security and kicked out of California music fest Sunday night during Drake's set.

According to the website, security wouldn't let Bieber and his crew into the artist entrance section during Drake's performance because it was at capacity -- even though they had the proper wristbands.

Sources on the scene tell TMZ Bieber was at odds with security over access, explaining how he couldn't stay in the general admission area as he'd likely get bombarded by fans. But Bieber wouldn't take no for an answer, eyewitnesses said. Eventually a Coachaella staff member agreed to walk him into the artists' area -- that's until, TMZ reports, a security guard "came up from behind and put Bieber in a chokehold."

Insiders say security then asked Bieber to leave the festival. Meanwhile, the Biebs is reportedly seeking legal action. TMZ has footage of the alleged incident, but it's difficult to make out what's really going on.

Bieber was recently roasted during this year's Comedy Central special.
