Report: Cops search for Calif. sushi chef's killer

Authorities in California are searching for a restaurant worker they believe strangled a sushi chef with whom he lived and worked.

Henry Nunez-Godinez, 22, is accused of murdering Chang-Ho Jung, 39, by strangling him with a cord Dec. 11, 2013 in the Laguna Hills apartment where they lived, reports CBS LA.

Jung and Nunez-Godinez worked together at a Lake Forest sushi restaurant where Jung was a sushi chef and Nunez-Godinez was a restaurant attendant, reports the station. Restaurant owners reportedly discovered Jung’s body when he didn’t show up for work.

A $1 million warrant has also been issued for Nunez-Godinez’s arrest. Authorities believe eh may have fled to Nicaragua by way of Mexico. His car, a black 2005 Volkswagon Jetta with license plate 6KJM618, is also missing.
