Rebecca Kasper, 19, was reportedly found in a Tempe, Arizona apartment wrapped in a yoga mat and blanket, her head covered with a plastic bag and her face beaten beyond recognition. Her wrists and ankles were also bound and her body had been sprinkled with coffee grounds and baking soda, KPHO reports.

Her boyfriend, Luis Soltero, 22, has been charged with premeditated murder in connection with her death, KPHO reports. Soltero told Tempe police that his girlfriend was at the apartment.

"I feel like this should be somebody else's story," Dan Kasper, the victim's father, told the station. He said his daughter loved Arizona,  though he was uneasy about her studying so far from her family's home in Minnesota.

Rebecca Kasper, known as Becky, was a marketing major at ASU, according to the station. She was set to graduate a year early.
