Pug watching favorite movie may be your favorite clip (with a kitty cat rescue bonus)

(CBS News) The little pug in this video above is watching the end of his favorite movie of all time. How do I know that it's his favorite? Well, his reaction at various points should make it obvious enough... But go ahead and click play to see and decide for yourself. The roller coaster ride of doggy emotions during the film was posted by YouTube user pugsplace who writes about the caught-on-camera moment:

This is my dog Pugsley watching the final scene of the [movie] "Homeward Bound, the Incredible Journey". As you can see he actually follows the plot!

Honestly, while watching it at first I thought it was cute, but really just a coincidence that Pugsley seemed excited during the happy scene and sad during the downer moment... but to see that complete change in mood occur all over again during the big surprise? Well, I'll go ahead and say that I was totally surprised, too, and think he really may have been following the plot. But what did you all think?
