Pro-Santorum super PAC buying ad time in Louisiana

Newt Gingrich's insistence on staying in the race has crept up on Rick Santorum, though Mitt Romney keeps making gaffes. The three are seen as neck-and-neck in Alabama and Mississippi, which are holding primaries Tuesday. Jan Crawford reports.

A super PAC supporting Rick Santorum announced Tuesday it is making a $260,000 ad buy to support the former Pennsylvania senator's campaign in Louisiana ahead of the state's March 24 primary.

"We are confident tonight will be a good night and we are now looking at other states to add to our momentum," said Stuart Roy, a spokesman for the super PAC, called the Red White and Blue fund.

The ads will begin running on Wednesday, following Santorum's election-night party in Lafayette, La. on Tuesday night. RWB Fund has been supporting Santorum's efforts since the Iowa caucuses, and has acted as a major supplement to the campaign's own more meager advertising efforts. It recently poured about half a million dollars into supporting Santorum in Mississippi and Alabama, the two states voting on Tuesday.
