President's Dinner Nets GOP Over $15 Million

The National Republican Congressional Committee and National Republican Senatorial Committee raised a combined $15.4 million for tonight's President's Dinner fundraiser, held tonight at the Washington Convention Center.  The NRCC raised $7.9 million for its House candidates; the NRSC netted $7.5 million.

"We are very excited about the success of this event and the enthusiasm we are seeing from our supporters," said NRCC Chairman Tom Cole.  "Our conference and our supporters are dedicated to reinstating a Republican majority and are working hard to position Republicans for a successful 2008."
