(CBS) - Copies of the slim-fitting, ivory maid of honor gown that Pippa Middleton wore at the April 29 royal wedding are hitting the high street.

British department store Debenhams is planning to sell replicas this fall at just a fraction of the cost of the original.

Designed by Alexander McQueen, like Kate's wedding dress, Pippa's satin-based crepe gown transformed her into an international style star immediately after she stepped out in Westminster Abbey.

The figure-hugging design accentuated her slim frame and featured a cowl neck and buttons in the back, mirroring her sister's gown.

The original reportedly cost about $32, 506, but the replica will retail for $277 and will be available in September, according to the AFP.

"Both men and women everywhere were instantly talking about Pippa, so naturally brides-to-be will want to emulate her classic look -- both for themselves or their bridesmaids," said Alain Mehada, chief personal shopper at Debenhams branch on London's Oxford Street.

The retailer also has plans to sell versions of the Alice Temperley emerald evening gown that Pippa wore to the evening reception, which will be priced at $160.
