Pickup with four flat tires stolen in Mich.

(CBS/AP) WHITE PIGEON, Mich. - You might think a pickup truck with four flat tires would be theft-proof.

You'd be wrong.

Authorities say a pickup that hadn't run for five or six years was targeted by thieves in southwestern Michigan - including those four flat tires.

MLive.com reports that the truck was taken during the last several weeks in White Pigeon, about 80 miles south of Grand Rapids.

The St. Joseph County sheriff's department says the red, 2000 Dodge had a 100-gallon aluminum fuel tank in its bed along with an aluminum toolbox.

A witness reported seeing a flat-bed wrecker take the pickup truck as a second tow truck followed behind.
