NEW YORK (CBS) In 2007, 4-year-old Ricky Chekevdia and his mother vanished. Now two years later, Ricky has miraculously reappeared.

Police say he was locked in a tiny, secret room in his grandmother's suburban West Frankfort, Ill., home that was only 12 by 5 feet. The ceiling was only four feet high.

Ricky's mother, 30-year-old Shannon Wilfong, is charged with felony child abduction.

His grandmother, 51-year-old Diane Dobbs, is charged with aiding and abetting.

But that's not all to the story.

How did the little boy survive if, as police say, he was held for two years in a windowless crawl space, only allowed out at night? And what did his grandmother say about her alleged involvement?
