PETA on the Prowl at Oklahoma Animal Park?

(gwpark.org)

WYNNEWOOD, Okla. (CBS/AP/KWTV) This is one spy case that's not quite as sexy as say, Anna Chapman. It's a story about an Oklahoma animal park, allegedly infiltrated by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, aka PETA.

Read on for more intrigue.

The Garvin County sheriff's office says it is investigating a former worker at the G.W. Exotic Animal Park who is accused of being a spy for PETA.

According to CBS Oklahoma City affiliate  KWTV, a spokesman for the sheriff's office said investigators were looking into a report that the former worker downloaded the hard-drive contents of a computer used by the park's director, Joe Schreibvogel, without his knowledge.

Schreibvogel said the worker was "planted" at the park by the animal-welfare group.

A PETA spokeswoman said information the group has about the animal park was obtained legally.

So far there have been no arrests, and no charges filed.

And no sign of Anna Chapman anywhere.
