Pedro Cruz Trujillo, h.s. baseball coach, arrested for allegedly smoking pot with students

(CBS/KCBS) GRANADA HILLS - Los Angeles police say a 24-year-old assistant baseball coach at a Granada Hills high school was arrested after allegedly smoking marijuana with students.

According to CBS Los Angeles, 24-year-old Pedro Cruz Trujillo was arrested Monday and faces six counts of child endangerment.

Six teens between the ages of 14 and 16 were reportedly in the vehicle during the alleged incident, which police say occurred in May while Trujillo was driving Kennedy High School students to a Dodgers game.

Police say Trujillo was arrested after a school staff member heard the allegation and reported it, CBS Los Angeles reports.

Trujillo is reportedly being held on $100,000 bail. School officials removed him from his coaching job after the allegations surfaced.
