Owl shows affection for dog with its talons

(CBS) - It's amazing what dogs will put up with. Man's best friend has the kind of patience only a true pal possesses - and we are all the luckier for it. Owl talons are not comfortable. I have never personally been petted by an owl, but it's probably not very enjoyable. But this pooch puts up with it, and we get this adorable video of an owl and his pal hanging outside.

This clip features Artemis the owl (good name!) and Annie the dog chilling in the grass. Annie, by the way, is a bird dog, which is pretty perfect. It takes generations of breeding to produce the kind of dog that can withstand an owl's affection.
