"OITNB" star Danielle Brooks offended by first class travel experience

Even with a hit show on Netflix, and Tony-nominated run on Broadway, airport employees are apparently surprised that "Orange is the New Black" star Danielle Brooks flies first class.

Brooks was on her way from New York to Los Angeles to appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live Thursday, when she had an annoying encounter at the airport.

The 26-year-old actress tweeted about the experience before taking flight. "I hate when gate agents look at me like I've never flown first class and say 'You're in first class, lucky you!' really tho," she wrote.

Judging by her since-deleted post, this isn't the first time Brooks has dealt with shock over her seating accommodations, but she didn't let the moment kill her positive vibe.

"In LA for less than 24 hours. Can't wait to be on @jimmykimmel tonight!!" she tweeted hours later.

After landing on the West Coast, Brooks posted a "steamy" dressing room photo on Instagram to promote her appearance on JKL. "I'll be steamin' hott on @jimmykimmellive tonight 11:35 est on @abcnetwork," she wrote, adding flame emojis.

The Georgia-born actress, who plays Tasha "Taystee" Jefferson on OITNB is currently shooting season five of the hit series, and enjoys keeping fans in the loop through social media. On Wednesday, Brooks Instagrammed a photo from the set with the caption "It's like I never left this joint son."

It's like I never left the joint son.
