(CBS News) Actress Nikki Reed will launch her first jewelry line this coming fall.
The capsule collection that will be made exclusively for Glamhouse.com is titled, Mattlin Era, after her grandmother. The line is inspired by people who have meant the most to the actress, and each piece, according to Reed, has a deeply personal story.
The focal piece of the collection will be a rose and elaf bolo tie called "the Paul," inspired by her husband Paul McDonald, and also reminiscent of earrings her mother designed earlier in her life.
"Some of my earliest memories are of my mother, sitting behind her sewing machine making clothes for my brother and I when we couldn't afford to buy the cool stuff that was sold in stores," Reed said in a statement. "When I was old enough to help, we would go and buy fun colored beads to string on elastic and - volia! - I had my first 'jewlery line.'"
Reed will be in the last "Twilight" film, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" later this year.
