Nicole Kidman's bad "second date" with Jimmy Fallon

Nicole Kidman’s face says it all.

When the actress appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Thursday, she admitted that she “so didn’t want to come back.”

It was the first time Kidman sat down with Jimmy Fallon for an interview since last year, when she told the late-night host that he missed his opportunity to make a move on her years prior.

Fallon promised the upcoming “Lion” star that “the past is the past,” and he’d leave it that way.

But Kidman knew what was coming, “Here we go again.”

As Kidman introduced a new subject and began discussing her plans for the holidays, music cut in, and a distracted Fallon stared at the actress.

Grinning, Kidman decided to give in, and told Fallon that there’s “more to the story.”

It turns out, Fallon didn’t have just one chance to date Kidman; he had two.

Both Kidman and Fallon apparently attended a party at director David Fincher’s “a long time ago,” and Kidman spotted Fallon in the buffet line in the kitchen.

“You could’ve asked for my number then, because it was round two, and you still didn’t ask for it!” Kidman said. “And you know that’s true, so do not pretend.”

“What is going on? What is happening right now?” a shocked Fallon asked.

Scratching his head, Fallon struggled to remember talking to Kidman at the party years back.

“That’s even more offensive that you don’t remember!” Kidman fired back.

Kidman said her agent promised Fallon would ask for her out.

“We were lurking in the kitchen after everyone went out and I’m like waiting and waiting and waiting,” Kidman said.

“I can’t believe this,” Fallon said. “You’re out of my--”

Luckily, the argument was quickly squashed as Kidman’s husband, Keith Urban, stepped in with his guitar to serenade Fallon with the song “Dream Weaver.”

“Tell me about the buffet,” Urban joked.

“I don’t even remember the buffet at all,” a blushing Fallon said. “And this is what happens.”
