There's a new Indiana Jones movie coming in 2019

Harrison Ford is apparently getting used to reprising his old roles. First, he returned as Han Solo for "Star Wars: the Force Awakens," and he's already working on a sequel to "Blade Runner" with Ryan Gosling.

And now he's set to reprise another of his most iconic roles: Indiana Jones.

J.J. Abrams directs Harrison Ford as Han Solo 01:15

Walt Disney Studios announced Tuesday that Ford will reprise the role of Indiana Jones -- his fifth time playing the character -- for an as-yet-unnamed film directed by Steven Spielberg. Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall, who handled all four previous films, will produce this one as well.

While the film doesn't have a title yet, it does have a release date: July 19, 2019.

"Indiana Jones is one of the greatest heroes in cinematic history, and we can't wait to bring him back to the screen in 2019," Walt Disney Studios chairman Alan Horn said. "It's rare to have such a perfect combination of director, producers, actor and role, and we couldn't be more excited to embark on this adventure with Harrison and Steven."

Disney took possession of the adventure franchise with its purchase of Lucasfilm in 2012 for $4.05 billion. The franchise's four movies have brought in nearly $2 billion at the box office.
