Alan Campbell, a 41-year-old man from Hickory, allegedly tied up the woman, used a box cutter to carve the word "mine" on her stomach, and cut her in the face, throat, chest, stomach and legs, said CBS affiliate WBTV.

Campbell is facing a laundry list of charges. He's charged with first degree rape, first-degree kidnapping, assault with a deadly weapon, assault on a female and two counts of communicating threats.
