NEW YORK (CBS) Rapper Nas claims he doesn't have the means to pay his ex-wife, R & B singer Kelis, child and spousal support, according to gossip site TMZ.

In March, a judge ordered Nas to pay more than $87,000 to get him up to date with child and spousal support, says TMZ. The court then ordered him to pay Kelis $10,000 a month in just spousal support. The celebrity site says it's unclear how much Nas has to pay monthly in child support.

TMZ says they have new legal documents where Nas claims he can't afford the court ordered payments. The documents, says TMZ, say the judge made the order based on Nas making $152,031 a month, but the rapper claims he makes "substantially" less than that.

His lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, is now asking the judge to please take another look at the amount Nas should pay, says the site.
