Missing Woman Keighley Ann Alyea Found Dead, Three Arrested
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (CBS/AP) Police say the body of 18-year-old Keighley Ann Alyea who had been missing for nearly a week has been found in a rural Cass County, Mo., farm field.
Police spokesman Jim Weaver says three men have been arrested in the death of the Overland Park woman, but he gave no further details.
Alyea disappeared about midnight last Tuesday; her body was found around 9:30 p.m. Monday. An autopsy was being conducted on Tuesday at the Jackson County medical examiner's office in Kansas City, Mo.
Alyea's parents declined to comment to the Associated Press Monday night.
Police had been concerned that she was in danger after she intervened on Sept. 28 in a violent argument between her ex-boyfriend and his sister.
