Missing Fla. woman last seen leaving Tampa bar

TAMPA, Fla. -- Police are searching for a missing Florida woman who was last seen after she left a bar, reports CBS affiliate WTSP.

Apryl Foster, 33, vanished in Tampa early Thursday. The station reports she left the Double Decker bar around 2:19 that morning and was last seen walking down the sidewalk alone.

While investigators say they don't have evidence of foul play, they're concerned about her safety, reports the station. Tampa Police chief Jane Castor described the woman as "very reliable and very responsible," saying it was unusual for her to be out of touch with friends and family and to leave her cats uncared for.

"This is very, very uncharacteristic of this person," Castor told reporters in a news conference.

Police have interviewed a man Foster was seen exchanging numbers with at the bar the night she vanished, and they say he has been cooperative, reports the station. Foster was reportedly estranged from her husband.

Police are also reportedly reviewing surveillance video in the area. Castor said that so far, "there is nothing telling from that."

Investigators are also searching for Foster's car, a 2009 red Chevy Aveo with Florida tags K125YC and a vanity white front tag labeled "Huskers."

Anyone with information is asked to call Tampa Police at 813-231-6130.
