Medical examiner: Ga. teen's body was found nude, posed by executioner

ROSWELL, Ga. -- Two Georgia teens who were found fatally shot execution-style behind a Roswell grocery store Aug. 1 had their bodies posed by their killer, according to a newly-released autopsy report.

Natalie Henderson, 17, was found nude and in a “sexually suggestive position,” according to the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s report obtained by CBS affiliate WGCL.The teen was found to have been shot at close-range in the front of the head.

Carter Davis, also 17, was reportedly found wearing only shorts and had been shot at medium range, in the side of the head. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Davis’s body was found with his arms stretched out on each side.

Both of the teens were found on their backs, the paper reports. Henderson was also found with a feather in her hair.

Jeffrey Hazelwood, 20, is accused of murdering the teens. But police have released little information about what, if any, relationship the three had. An arrest warrant says Hazelwood followed them into an alley behind the Publix grocey store and fatally shot them.

No weapon or shell casings were found at the scene, but investigators believe a revolver was the murder weapon, the paper reports.

Hazelwood, the only suspect in the crime, is charged with two counts of murder, two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of theft by taking, possession of a firearm during a felony, and ID fraud, according to WGCL. He’s also accused of stealing Henderson’s wallet and Davis’ jumper cables.

Police have declined to discuss a possible motive for the slayings. Henderson and Davis, who used to live in Rapid City, South Dakota, would have been high school seniors this year.

Hazelwood is due in court Friday for a probable cause hearing.
