McCain Heads to Ohio

(PITTSBURGH) – John McCain brings his economic tour to southern Ohio today, hosting a town hall meeting at the high school in Portsmouth, Ohio, after he tours the research and development facility of CONSOL Energy, a coal and mining company here.

The Democratic governor of Ohio is not ceding the 20,000 person town of Portsmouth to McCain. Gov. Ted Strickland plans to host a rally for Barack Obama this morning at a Portsmouth union hall across the street from the high school.
