Martina McBride, Train frontman to sing as couple marries at ACM Awards

(CBS News) Wedding bells will ring on Sunday night at the 47th annual Academy of Country Music Awards.

Martina McBride and Train frontman Pat Monahan will perform the song, "Marry Me" as a couple weds live onstage.

McBride personally hand-picked Christina Davidson and her fiance, Frank Tucci, to wed during the TV performance. The couple first met at a support group for young widows and widowers  in 2009 after losing their spouses.

Monahan first wrote "Marry Me" for Train's 2009 album, "Save, Me San Francisco." McBride recently recorded a version of the track with Monahan for her latest release, "Eleven."

McBride and Monahan join previously announced performers Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Sara Evans, Toby Keith, Miranda Lambert, Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Chris Young, The Band Perry, Lady Antebellum and Rascal Flatts.

The ACMs will broadcast live from Las Vegas on Sunday at 8:00 p.m. ET on CBS.
