The NYPD is now reportedly looking for the unidentified woman seen in the video they released Thursday. In the recording, 24-year-old Marisha Cheong is seen walking down the street with the woman and trying to turn around and walk away, but the woman grabs her hand and pulls her along.

Authorities are now looking to question the woman in connection with Cheong's disappearance and death, according to the station.

Cheong went missing on December 19 without a trace and her body washed ashore near Breezy Point in Queens, NY on February 16. The student had lived in Queens with her boyfriend, LJ Balkaran, prior to her disappearance.

Bibi Ali, Cheong's mother, said she received a text message right before her daughter went missing saying, "Mom I'm fine I just need time to think."  Ali told CBS New York that she has been haunted by that text, since her daughter always called her "Mommy."

No arrests have been made in the case.
