Man found with missing Md. girl facing charges

PERRY HALL, Md. - A 32-year-old man found in North Carolina with a 12-year-old missing Maryland girl is charged with kidnapping and first-degree rape, reports CBS Baltimore.

Victor Arroyo was found late Friday with the 12-year-old, who was reported missing on Tuesday, Nov. 11 after she didn't show up to her Baltimore County school.

Police say the girl was known to communicate with men in other states using her iPad and Xbox. Clues from both devices played a crucial role in finding her, according to the station.

Detectives say they are continuing to investigate how the 12-year-old met Arroyo, who was charged with a misdemeanor assault on a female back in 2007.
