"Male Enhancement" Murder Defense? It's a New One on Us, Too, in Va. Shooting

HARRISONBURG, Va. (CBS/AP) - It's not a murder defense you'll hear very often.

A Virginia man accused of shooting two people on the Blue Ridge Parkway April 5 told police his mind may have been impaired by male enhancement drugs.

According to a search warrant affidavit, 56-year-old Ralph Leon Jackson of Stuarts Draft, Va. told an Augusta County investigator he'd been taking male enhancement substances that might be making his mind "fuzzy" or "foggy." A Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives agent filed the affidavit Thursday, April 29, in federal court in Harrisonburg.

Jackson is jailed on state charges of murder and attempted murder. He's accused of shooting 27-year-old Tim Davis, who later died, and 18-year-old Christina Floyd, who survived.
