(CBS News) The Pakistani schoolgirl who stood up to the Taliban is continuing to recover in a British hospital.
New pictures show 15-year-old Malala Yousufzai reading some of the get-well cards that have poured in since she was shot in the head last month after speaking out about the right of girls to go to school.
Her father has said she will not be silenced.
Since arriving in Birmingham, England, for treatment last month, Malala has asked for her school books, indicating her thirst for education continues.
Queen Elizabeth Hospital has said Malala is comfortable and responding to treatment. Staff there have said the teen has made a dramatic recovery.
