Lydia Antonini

My parents always stressed the importance of community and volunteer work, and that's something I've carried with me through my professional life and personal activities. I've been a frequent volunteer with organizations like Habitat for Humanity and the Lower Eastside Soup Kitchen.

Perhaps one of the biggest challenges in my life has been finding a way to integrate the instinct towards service with my professional career.

For the past 10 years I've had the pleasure of working on the business side of the Entertainment & Media industry. In that role, I've felt a responsibility to make sure stories are told with respect, and I work hard to ensure that many voices have the opportunity to be heard through the many mediums that I work in.

Currently, I'm working on an animated film project that empowers children in New Orleans who were impacted by Hurricane Katrina to imagine and visually realize all their hopes and dreams for the future of their city. --Lydia Antonini
