NEW YORK (CBS) Actress Lindsay Lohan may be "mired" by her current legal woes, but she could be "Hired" later this fall.

According to published reports, the 24-year-old star has been tapped by The Donald, himself, to appear in the next season of "Celebrity Apprentice."

According to the New York Post, business tycoon Donald Trump approached Lohan with a proposal to star in his reality TV series on NBC.

Lohan is considering the offer if filming fits around her "very busy" movie career, says her mom, Dina, who tells the Post, "Donald is a friend of the family, and producers of 'Celebrity Apprentice' have approached Lindsay to appear in the next season. She's deciding if she wants to do it or not."

NBC refused to comment on the proposal, stating it was "too early to talk about casting." Filming doesn't begin until late this year.

The Post also reports, "They are in advanced talks with Lindsay and Dina, but a lot depends on what happens with Lindsay's legal issues."

Lohan's bail was raised to $200,000 by Judge Marshal Revel after her alcohol-monitoring SCRAM bracelet went off. The actress was attending an MTV Movie Awards after-party, hosted by singer Katy Perry, at the time.
