(CBS) Kim Kardashian's wedding is fast approaching, and the bride-to-be's sister has some advice to share.

Khloe Kardashian, who married Lamar Odom in September 2009, talked about the nuptials at Wednesday's launch party for the Kardashian Kollection in Hollywood, Calif.

"It's not about having everything perfect!" she told Us magazine.

She added that Kim and soon-to-be-husband Kris Humphries should take time out for one another during the wedding.

"At some point in your wedding, take your husband in a corner and just be quiet and look and enjoy the whole presence of it," Khloe said. "And just look and enjoy because it goes so fast...it's amazing."

Kim told the magazine that she's "totally calm," with the ceremony just days away.

"I'm just really looking forward to the whole wedding," she added.

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries will tie the knot on Saturday in Montecito, Calif. The bride will wear a Vera Wang gown, and her bridal party may don green dresses. Sister Kourtney's son, Mason, will reportedly serve as the ring bearer.

The wedding will air as a two-part E! special on Oct. 9-10.
