Actor Kevin Connolly suffered a broken leg while filming a scene for the upcoming "Entourage" movie.

The actor was playing football on set in Los Angeles with Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson when Connolly broke his leg in two places, Deadline reports.

Connolly appeared to be in good spirits despite the injury, posting a photo on Twitter of him with Wilson. "Pain management advice from a Super Bowl champ!! #broken leg," he wrote.

"Entourage" director Doug Ellin added that the accident occurred during a take and that Connolly "came down with the ball."

According to Deadline, Connolly showed up for work the following day and production on the film, based on the long-running HBO series, hasn't been interrupted. As co-star Jeremy Piven tweeted: "It would take more than a broken leg to keep [Connolly] down."

The "Entourage" movie is set to hit theaters on June 12, 2015.
