Kate Gosselin to Appear at Emmy Awards and in Sarah Palin's Reality Show

NEW YORK (CBS) Kate Gosselin is returning to primetime television - this time with an appearance at the Emmy Awards.

The former "Dancing with the Stars" contestant and reality TV mom is set to attend the Aug. 29 Primetime Emmy Awards, according to E! Online.  Gosselin will appear as an opening act in a comedic segment with the Emmy's emcee Jimmy Fallon.

On the same day Gosselin's Emmy's plans were first reported, a TLC rep confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that Gosselin will make a guest apperance on the Nov. 14 episode of "Sarah Palin's Alaska," the former Alaska governor's upcoming reality show.

Gosselin and her brood of eight will join the one-time vice presidential hopeful in Alaska for a camping trip.

Currently, Gosselin stars on TLC special "Kate Plus 8," and will soon have her own talk show, 'Twist of Kate.'
