Kate dons vibrant red for Diamond Jubilee

(CBS News) Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, stepped out in a striking Alexander McQueen dress to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II on the River Thames in London Sunday.

She wore a small, high red hat featuring flower cutouts and a long, form-fitting boat-neck top with a knee-length pleated skirt. She finished the look with a plush red bag and carried a plaid scarf.

The look was in stark contrast to the queen's and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall's all-white dress for the event.
