Josh Duhamel and Fergie expecting a boy

It will be a boy for Fergie and husband Josh Duhamel.

The actor revealed the baby news during an appearance on "Live! with Kelly and Michael," airing Wednesday.

"Live" co-host Kelly Ripa held up two onesies -- one pink, one blue -- and asked Duhamel, 40, to choose. He played coy at first, then grabbed the blue one and held it up.

The revelation comes a few days after the pregnant Black Eyed Peas singer, 38, legally changed her name to Fergie Duhamel, People reports. The change means the new family will all have the same last name.

The couple married in 2009 and announced in February that they were expecting their first child. The baby is reportedly due to arrive in late August/early September.
