Jessie Lunderby Poses Nude for Playboy; Ark. Jailer Suspended from Job

Jessie Lunderby, 21, a Washington County, Ark. jailer who posed nude for a Playboy website, has been suspended with pay while the county's sheriff's department investigates whether or not she violated department policy. Policies in place, according to Maj. Rick Hoyt, potentially bar "conduct unbecoming of an officer or employee of the department." Lunderby has worked for the sheriff's office since 2007, and told CBS affiliate KFSM that the department "knew about" the photo shoot before it occurred. FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (CBS/AP/KFSM) Jessie Lunderby is in hot water with the  Washington County Sheriff's Office - her employer - after deciding to pose nude for Playboy.com as their Cybergirl of the week.

Lunderby, 21, has been suspended pending the outcome of an investigation into the racy pics, and the sexy jailer could face a range of punishments from a reprimand to further suspension, and even potential dismissal.

Sheriff Tim Helder of the Washington County Sheriff's Office in Arkansas told CBS affiliate KFSM that the investigation has been launched because it appears Lunderby violated several ethics policies.

"It just beams directly back to this organization and does it represent what we stand for which is to protect and serve the community, is that how we want to be represented," said Helder.

At the very least, Helder can rest assured that the Playboy.com viewers have a growing appreciation for the Washington County Sheriff's Office...or maybe just for Lunderby.

Lunderby, however, is "disgusted" with the way the situation is being handled and claims she told her supervisor about the spread weeks ahead of time.

"They knew about it, I informed them about it. I had plenty of time to say 'No, it can't come out. No, I don't want it to be out.' They never said no," Lunderby told KFSM.

Lunderby has hired an attorney and said she could possibly pursue legal action not just for the Playboy issue but another separate issue from the past that also has her concerned, reports KFSM.

The investigation is set to conclude Tuesday, and Lunderby fears she will most likely be fired for her photo shoot.

Despite the backlash, the wife and mother of an 18-month-old son is happy with her decision to pose nude.
